Draft for the beta. These terms may change before Placit launches.

Terms of Service

Last updated: 6 November 2026

These terms explain how you can use Placit. By using Placit you agree to them. We've kept them short and plain.

Who we are

Placit is based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. You can contact us at hello@placit.ai.

What Placit does

Placit turns a photo into a social post. It writes a caption in your style, shows you a preview, and once you approve it, publishes it to the accounts you've connected (such as Instagram, Facebook and Google Business Profile) at the best time for each.

Your photos and accounts

You must own the photos you upload, or have permission to use them. You must own, or be authorised to manage, every account and business you connect to Placit.

You approve every post

Placit never posts without your approval. You review every post before it goes up, and you are responsible for the content you approve, including captions, hashtags and any prices or claims in them.

Acceptable use

You must not use Placit to post anything unlawful, misleading, deceptive, defamatory or offensive, or anything that infringes someone else's rights, such as copyright or trade marks. You must also follow the rules of each platform you post to. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Beta service

Placit is in beta. It is provided as is, features may change or be removed, and there may be bugs or downtime. Connections to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Google depend on each platform's approval and may change.

Subscriptions and free trial

Pricing, the free trial and subscription terms will be confirmed at launch. We will tell you clearly before you are ever charged.

Cancelling and closing your account

You can stop using Placit at any time. You can disconnect accounts or close your Placit account in the app, or by emailing hello@placit.ai. See our Data deletion page for what happens to your data.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. As far as the law allows, Placit is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by content you approved or by outages of the platforms we post to. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited to supplying the service again or the amount you paid us in the previous three months.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

Changes

We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and update the date at the top. For how we handle your information, see our Privacy Policy.
